Friends in Service to Him

(F.I.S.H.)

The Friends Class is for adults of all ages who enjoy vibrant roundtable discussions as we study God's Holy Word.  Taught by Ray Hall and Dewayne Pugh, the Friends Class endeavors to translate the magnificence of God's Word from our heads to our hearts.

The Friends Class includes members from all walks of life as diverse s the Rocket City itself -- teachers, military, engineers, software gurus, administrators, gospel singers, salesmen, retirees, parents, and grandparents who have one thing in common:  they love fellowship and friendship.

The Ministries of F.I.S.H. include:

• Adopting Mrs. Pollard's first grade class members as our Christmas angels each year.  Mrs. Pollard tells us that we bring many smiles to those precious faces.
• Benevolence - Our class serves as host/hostess to provide meals for families when loved ones pass away.
• Orphans - Most members help support at least one child in India through Compassion International.
• Widows - Our members participate in Friendship Circles to befriend our widows.
• Homeless/Shut-In - We send food to the Rescue Mission and visit the sick and shut-ins.
